When can I vote?
Voting is open now in Warren County. You can vote at the county auditor’s office until Tuesday, November 4.
What’s on the ballot?
There are a lot of important races on the ballot. Multiple city council seats, several school board seats, the DMACC board of directors, and other local races are all on the ballot.
Does it actually matter?
With everything going on in the world, your local city council might not seem very important. It’s tempting to think that elections only matter when a president or (maybe) a governor is being elected. But this is simply not true.
The people elected on November 4 will have a direct impact on your life. The decisions they make can affect your taxes, your child’s education, the books you check out of the library, the streets you drive on, and a host of other issues that touch your daily life.
Americans have always believed that power should rise from the bottom up and not the top down. And it doesn’t get more “bottom up” than your city or county.
You matter. Your daily life matters. And so, the offices and issues that impact your daily life matter.
Make sure to vote by November 4. Change the world, one local election at a time.
