Despite losing to Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (twice!) Democrat Chistina Bohannan is trying to represent Warren County residents in the U.S. House, yet again.

Former state lawmaker Christina Bohannan is one of three Democrats running in a primary to take on the incumbent Miller-Meeks. Bohannan has twice received her party’s nomination only to be beaten by Miller-Meeks in the general election. Apparently, she thinks the third time is the charm.

House Republicans’ campaign arm spokeswoman Emily Tuttle responded to Bohannan’s candidacy, saying, “When will Christina learn? Iowans have rejected her twice already, and now she has to run to the left to beat radical Bob Kraus and Bernie-bro Travis Terrell in the primary,”
Tuttle was referencing the two other Democrats running to challenge Miller-Meeks.
Once again, Warren County residents can contribute to determining which party has control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
