The Biden-Harris regime ends in just one month! Hang in there, America! We just might make it! Here’s what we hope a second Trump presidency will mean for the people of Warren County.
The second Trump administration begins on January 20, 2025. With Republicans in control of both the House and the Senate, conservatives are optimistic that the 47th presidency might be even better than the 45th.
What can the people of Warren County expect from a second Donald Trump term? Time will tell. But here’s what we’re hoping for:
A better local economy. If Trump is successful in reigniting the engine of American economy, this will not only mean a better national economy but a better local economy. Businesses in Indianola, Norwalk, and all around Warren County have reason to be hopeful about their futures.
A federal government that doesn’t hate us. The entire premise of Warren’s Voice is that local politics matters. But having a federal government that is on your side is never a bad thing. Through his cabinet nominations, President-elect Trump is already signaling that he wants to reform Washington and get it out of the way of the average Americans just trying to live their lives.
Less division. The Biden-Harris administration was built on divisive identity politics. Joe Biden used it to get elected in 2020. Kamala Harris made it a pillar of her failed 2024 campaign. But this November, the American people rejected the lie that we must chop our population in demographics and pit them against each other. Trump has built a team of rivals that can help heal our country. This healing, we pray, will trickle down to our neighborhoods in Warren County.
In just one month, we will finally have someone in the White House fighting for our interest. While the presidency isn’t everything, it is something. Having Donald Trump back in office will only be good for the people of Warren County.
