Zach Lahn, Republican nominee for Iowa governor, has selected state representative Derek Wulf as his running mate.
A state representative from Black Hawk County, Wulf is a farmer and rancher. He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hudson.
Zach Lahn said on social media,
Derek has been an Iowa First fighter for years in the legislature. Whether it was leading on Right to Repair, defending private property rights, or stopping corporate overreach – Derek has been there for Iowans and I am very proud to have him partner with me on this campaign and look forward to serving with him at the Capitol.
Lahn and Wulf will face Democrat Rob Sand in November.
