Log Cabin Days begins in Indianola on Saturday, September 28, and continues through Sunday, September 29.
According to the Warren County Historical Society, “Log Cabin Festival is a county-wide celebration that began over 50 years ago. The Warren County Historical Society was given a log cabin which was moved to the museum site. To celebrate this gift and the beginning of the Heritage Village, a celebration was set up for the last full weekend of September. Through the years the village has gained a one-room schoolhouse, a country store, a church, a meeting house, a gazebo, an outhouse, George Washington Carver museum, and a machine shed.”
The parade begins at 10am on Saturday. There will be many activities throughout the weekend.
