Rep. Fett issued the following letter to the constituents of District 22:
Dear Friends and Neighbors of House District 22,
I’m sharing this not just as your representative, but as a fellow Iowan who stands with you—rooted in shared values and a deep commitment to the state we call home.
Over the past year, I’ve fought tirelessly to protect parental rights, defend our children from harmful ideologies, and ensure that Iowa law reflects the convictions we hold dear—faith, family, and freedom. Together, we’ve made meaningful progress—but the fight is far from over.
I’m announcing my run for re-election to the Iowa House in 2026—because Iowa’s families deserve leaders who will stand firm, speak truth, and never compromise on what matters most.
I remain committed to protecting educational freedom and defending the rights of parents to guide their children’s upbringing. I will continue working to ensure that every Iowa student is safe, supported, and surrounded by learning environments that reflect truth, excellence, and opportunity. The choices we make today will shape the next generation and I will not back down.
I will continue to stand against radical agendas that seek to erase biological reality, undermine our faith, and silence conviction. Our children deserve protection, and Iowans deserve leaders who act with courage. I remain a steadfast constitutionalist, with a clear focus on defending the Second Amendment. My commitment to preserving individual liberty and protecting the rights enshrined in our founding documents continues to guide my policy recommendations.
I will also keep fighting for our rural communities, small businesses, and the hardworking families who make Iowa strong. Our values are not negotiable—and our voice must be heard. We work hard and more money needs to stay in our pockets!
