Easter, also called Pascal or Resurrection Sunday, is the holiest Christian feast day. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Believers maintain that Jesus’ resurrection was the turning point in human history as it verified that Jesus had atoned for humanity’s sins on the cross and that His sacrifice was accepted by God the Father.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: (nor of the “holy days” they create with their traditions and their religions) 35: But in every nation that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Could it get any clearer? The only way anyone is going to hear, or fear God, is to read the word of God, and understand it, rightly divided, as per 2Timothy 2:15 (please use the KJV).

Otherwise you put your eternal fate in the prognostications of your fellow sinners’ interpretations, or you live in doubt and fear of the unknown.

It is imperative (according to the word of God) to believe what God says, and apply the truth to your own life. See Ephesians 2:8-10 (again KJV for essential use of pronouns and person/number agreement).

Then decide whether or not you believe the words, and whether or not you accept the free gift of eternal life that Christ offers…you either accept it, with thanks, or you decline it: “thanks, but no thanks.”

God gave us all a free choice…take it or leave it, to each his or her own choice.

So…”in every thing give thanks” is appropriate today. Every day is thanks giving day…they’re all tied for first place in the eyes of the Lord who made us all. Let us all give thanks to God, every day, and let the distraction and delusion of religious superstition go the way of dinosaurs.

Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
