Will Property Taxes Increase In Warren County?

Both the city of Indianola and Warren County are considering raising property taxes. As Iowans face increased property taxation, the proposal has sparked a variety of reactions. 

Warren County residents will have an opportunity to voice their opinions.

On March 24th at 6pm, the City of Indianola will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at 110 N. 1st Street in Indianola.

On April 1st at 9:30am, there will be a Warren County public hearing on proposed property taxation at the Warren County Administration Board Room.

On April 3rd at 7am, the Indianola School will also hold a public hearing in the Administrative Office Board Room on 1301 E 2nd Ave in Indianola.

Oral or written comments from residents or taxpayers will be received. Hearing attendance is optional.

    Property taxes in Warren County are already too high. People are going to leave our community if we don’t keep things affordable.
