The newly elected representative said in her statement,

First, I am proud to share that I was appointed Vice Chair of the Education Committee in the Iowa House for the 91st Assembly beginning January 13, 2025. This is a huge accomplishment for a freshman legislator and an opportunity to lead reform!

Most of you know that my passion and the reason I decided to run for office, was the desire to shape the future of education in Iowa. It’s how we make sure there is a future for our children and grandchildren. I see so many opportunities in education and here we are—with a seat at the table! It will be a tough job, but the time is now to have courage to be a reformer and not sit idly by as a conformer.

Fett represents Warren County residents living in District 22.
