Aaron DeKock: “I will come in and fix it.”

Earlier this month, Warren’s Voice spoke with Aaron DeKock, the Republican candidate for the District 2 seat on the Warren County Board of Supervisors. It’s clear that he has a passion for balancing the budget and bringing prudent decision-making to Warren County.

Aaron DeKock is an attorney who lives in Norwalk. He previously served on the board from 2019-2022. DeKock noted that he “did the work” as the board’s chairman, leaving the board with good reserves and a lower levy rate. He left office on December 31st, 2022. DeKock claims that by February, 2023, there were already “problems” on the board.

Rising taxes have been a problem in Warren County. This and other problems with the county government motivated Aaron DeKock to seek a return to the board. In the primary, DeKock received nearly 60% of the vote against incumbent Mark Snell and Republican candidate Eddie Davis.

Aaron DeKock said that the board must be “good stewards and prudent decision makers”. Noting the many challenges facing the board, he promises, “I will come in and fix it.”

I like Aaron’s style; he has a proven track record; he sees a problem AND has a solution. His will be a welcome voice back on the board. Reminds me of TRUMP!
