Warren County is proposing an increase in your property taxes. A public hearing will be held at 9:30am on March 31 at the Warren County Administration Board Room.
Additionally, the Indianola School is proposing increasing property taxes. According to a public notice, “The increase in taxes is due to increased costs and the payback of the voter approved bonds that are paying for the new high school.” There will be a public hearing on this proposal at 7am on April 4 at 1301 E 2nd Ave, Indianola.
Not to be left out, cities are also proposing new taxation rates. Citing the rise in health, dental, and liability insurance, the city of Indianola is proposing an increase. The public hearing for that proposal will be held at 6pm on April 6 at the City Hall Council Chambers (110 N 1st St, Indianola)
