What were the results?

Four candidates were competing for three seats on the Indianola School Board. Dr. Ryan Welling received 1,857 votes, Bradi Darah got 1,679, and Mack Rankin received 1,647 votes. Though it was very close, Josh Lawrence only received 1,643 votes, putting him in fourth place and he will therefore not take a seat on the board.

Jeanette Campbell was running unopposed to finish the term vacated by Rob Keller. She secured that seat with 2,173 votes.

In Indianola’s only contested city council seat, Brad Ross came up short with 339 votes to Ron Dably’s 445 votes.

    Thanks for your early reporting.
It appears you may have made a typo on your number of votes for Josh Lawrence. You have Rankin and Lawrence tied.
