I was educated in public schools and have chosen this route for my own son and it has been a very good experience for him.\u201d He added, \u201cI do believe public schools could find a way to better promote the great work being done by so many of our students and staff members that the public is not aware of.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keller sees parents as essential and complementary to the public school\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Said Rob Keller, \u201cIndianola Community School District champions parental involvement at all levels of their children\u2019s education.\u201d Calling parents \u201ca child\u2019s first and most important educator\u201d, the school board member encouraged parents to actively engage the school system. \u201cFor far too long parental and community involvement in all schools, public and private, has been waning. A child\u2019s teacher can only do so much to educate a child. The child must have the support of their parents and other important family members to be prepared and ready for learning each day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n As public schools throughout the country continue to excite controversy, Rob Keller seeks to restore faith in Indianola\u2019s school system.
