Irving Omar Ahumada Geronimo of Palo Alto County and Jorge Oscar Sanchez-Vasque of Marshalltown have both been charged with illegally registering to vote and voting in local elections. Both were legal residents of the United States, but non-citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been no reports of non-citizens voting in Warren County<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First-degree election misconduct is a class D felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $750 to $7,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite multiple prosecutions, Democrat politicans and the legacy media insist that its not a major issue. The same newspaper that predicted Kamala Harris would win Iowa said<\/a>, “The prosecutions come in the wake of a Republican-led crackdown on noncitizen voting and allegations that Democrats were trying to steal elections with noncitizen voting. However, there has been no evidence of a widespread effort to register noncitizens to vote across the U.S.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
