That\u2019s a lie. The preborn baby is alive. The Bible verses Sand cites simply show that God gave life to Adam, to the dry bones in Ezekiel\u2019s dream, and to us. The Bible teaches that, before birth, we are formed by God. Before birth, Jeremiah was ordained as a prophet. Before birth, John the Baptist moved in his mother\u2019s womb. Obviously, God was not forming or ordaining babies that were dead. John the Baptist wasn\u2019t dead when he moved. The Bible teaches babies are dead until they are born and take a breath? Sand supports abortion, the killer of 63 million babies and was once endorsed by Planned Parenthood. Christ warned of a dire judgment for those who harm &#8220;one of my little ones.&#8221; Abortion advocates are peacemakers? Parents who visit their children out of state are not Iowans? That\u2019s a lie. The Democrats linked to a Des Moines Register article discussing Zack Lahn\u2019s flight records. But, the article actually showed Zack Lahn spent far more time in Iowa. Rob Sand said the same lie, immediately after saying he wasn\u2019t going to lie, by not counting 74 days when Zack Lahn\u2019s plane was in other parts of Iowa than Belle Plaine. Zach Lahn spending more time in Kansas than Iowa? So this equals roughly 95 + 30 = 125 nights in Iowa versus 75 nights in Kansas. This period included 32 weekends and Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. It\u2019s hardly surprising that Zack Lahn would spend 75 days with his minor children during this time. If, for some weekends, he left Friday night and returned Monday morning (3 nights), the weekends alone easily account for 75 days).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">d. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vVzLCNvnqCs\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vVzLCNvnqCs<\/a> (Before he said he wasn&#8217;t going to lie, Rob Sand said we should remember Zach Lane was a human being. Sand didn&#8217;t mention that Lahn, an Iowa native, goes to Kansas for the very human reason of visiting his children, something mentioned in the Register article, cited above, that the Democrats rely upon. After saying he wasn&#8217;t going to lie, Sand lied twice by omission. First he noted that Lahn&#8217;s ad says he bought his farm in 2014, but buying land doesn&#8217;t make you a resident. Sand then pointed out Lahn voted in Kansas in 2018 and 2022. Sand left out that Lahn voted in Iowa in 2016, meaning Lahn was probably a resident for two years after he purchased the farm. Second, Sand said &#8220;After he launched his campaign for governor in 2025, his plane . . . had spent half again as many nights [in Wichita than in Belle Plaine]&#8217;. So 75 nights in Wichita, Kansas to 51 nights in Belle Plain, Iowa. . . . I am a numbers guy. The numbers are 75 there and 51 here.&#8221; In fact, the very Register article that Sand got those numbers from stated, immediately after stating the 75 days in Wichita, that &#8220;the plane spent 51 nights in Belle Plaine and 44 nights in other Iowa towns.&#8221; The next sentence said that &#8220;for about a month&#8221; the plane was &#8220;in Des Moines.&#8221; The truth: 75 nights &#8220;there&#8221; in Kansas and 125 nights &#8220;here&#8221; in Iowa. Sand concealed 74 days Lahn spent in Iowa to make it appear Lahn lived there. Sand responded to Lahn saying he would be in Iowa &#8220;as much as humanly possible&#8221;, with &#8220;you can just be here all the time. That&#8217;s how much it is humanly possible to be in Iowa. And for most of us who live here, that would be the answer.&#8221; Another lie. I am 74. I can recall no Iowa governor spending all of his or her time in Iowa.
